GYM RULES & Etiquette
Dress Code: Shirts and shoes are required at all times; athletic shoes must be worn. Please do not wear street shoes. Take off street shoes at front door to prevent tracking in dirt or water. To prevent injury do not wear jewelry when working out.
Equipment: Please use safely and properly. Wipe down all equipment after use.
Free Weights: Free weightlifters are encouraged to lift with someone else present. Free weights are not to be dropped or slammed off of floor. Re-rack your weights; if you use it, put it back. Chalk is allowed but can be taken away if abused. Must clean equipment after use.
Step Back: Step back from the rack. Don't stand in front of the dumbbell rack and workout.
Peak Hours: During peak hours (or while others are waiting) limit your time on frequently used equipment.
Damages: Report any damaged equipment to management immediately. DO NOT USE.
Food, Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs: There is absolutely no food or chewing gum allowed. No alcohol allowed. There is no smoking inside of the building. Drugs are not allowed on the premises at any time.
Guest Policy: Management must be notified of a guest. A waiver must be signed before using the facility. A guest must be 18 or older or accompanied by a parent or guardian. Spectators are not allowed to accompany members and members are prohibited from letting non-members in without a guest pass for any purpose. If a member brings a guest without our knowledge, their account will be charged for a $10.00 day pass.
Be Respectful: Be considerate of others. No grunting, groaning, swearing or loud conversations. Keep your music to yourself. Don't hog equipment, one piece at a time under discretion, and no saving equipment. Please respect privacy. Never use a cell phone in the locker room and minimize phone use on the gym floor.
